French Students completed their internship under student exchange program

in EPE Department

Students from various universities of France has came to UPES under student exchange program in EPE Department.Students has opted various ongoing projects in EPE Department and were guided by the faculties of EPE Department. This internship has helped the students to understand the  challenges in hilly rural areas of Uttarakhand and also to understand the importance of renewable energy sources to mitigate these challenges.

EPE Student Completes Paris Summer Exchange Program

B.Tech PSE student Aakash Sharma completes one month Summer Exchange Program  on 'Energy Environment' in Paris organised by 'ECE Paris' from 3rd July to 27th July'2017.

The program was based on Renewable Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development for better future.

Along with the academics, Aakash also got an opportunity to interact with students from different countries like Mexico, England, Australia, Spain, Norway, South Korea & Argentina and widen his horizon and gain international exposure.

EPE student gets an opportunity to attend ECE Paris Summer Certificate Program in France

Aakash Sharma, student of B.Tech Power System Engineering, has been nominated to attend ECE Paris Summer Certificate Program in July 2017.

The Certification Program on "Energy Environment" would comprise of four courses-

Understanding “Energy & Environment” Issues, Power Generation, Transport & Storage and Sustainability & Environmental Concerns.

The program with its focus on trending energy & power scenarios like Global Energy, The French Context, Nuclear Power Plants, Fossil Power Plants, Renewable Energy, Power Transport & Energy, Global Climatic Changes ,Environmental Effects of Fossil Fuels Combustion, European & French Environmental Regulation,Sustainability & CO2 Assesment & Water & Waste Management will provide a major learning platform to Aakash.

Student Exchange Program

Students from France has joined UPES under student Exchange Program. Students worked on the Renewable Projects, developed Renewable business models they were also given the opportunity to work on feasibility analysis of Renewable Projects.
